Horror/Vampire/Ghosts/Witches
Salems Lot
David Soul, James Mason
This movie could have been better but it is so much better than the book

The Lost Boys
Jason Patric, Corey Haim
Before Interview With The Vampire, this was one of the best ever Vampire flicks, it still is today, it holds up very well

Dracula: Prince Of Darkness
Christopher Lee, Barbara Shelley
As good as the first of the two of them

Legend Of The 7 Golden Vampires
Peter Cushing, David Chiang
It grows on you, but it is fun

Horror Of Dracula
Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing
Great atmosphere, Christopher Lee & Peter Cushing in a Dracula movie what more could any horror fan ask for

Bram Stokers Dracula
Gary Oldman, Wynona Ryder
Excellent, not quite as close to the original novel as I would have liked but excellent none-the-less

Twilight
Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson
The book was better but the eye candy and background scenery make up for a lack luster film

Eclipse
Christen Stewart, Robert Pattinson
These really don't get worse I would daresay they do get better as they go along

New Moon
Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson
Again not very good the eye candy and scenery are good

Breaking Dawn Parts I & II
Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson
I really saw no reason to split this up except for the obvious cash grab, but I still don't regret spending my money

The Woman In Black
Daniel Radcliffe, Ciaran Hinds
I don't know why the critics panned this one so bad. The setting and atmosphere are great. The acting is excellent and for those saying "I can't see him being anyone else besides Harry Potter: well you all don't know what you are missing

The Amityville Horror
James Brolin, Margot Kidder
Even with all the controversy around this one, it still a great movie. The acting here is great

Dracula
Frank Langella, Sir Laurence Olivier
This is how you really make sexy and scary work. I didn't really like the story line so much but the performances were great

Werewolf Of London
Henry Hull, Valerie Hobson
I have always liked this one. It has a different feel than the rest of them

Dracula's Daughter
Gloria Holden, Otto Kruger
I really like this one, even though I could do without 2 of the stars. Great nod to Carmilla

Brides Of Dracula
Peter Cushing
It could have been better, not enough Vampire tension but any Vampire flick with Peter Cushing is fun

Dracula Has Risen From The Grave
Christopher Lee
I loved the ending but not really who did it

Taste The Blood Of Dracula
Christopher Lee
This was OK, but it was hard for me to get why Dracula was so vengeful over so what seemed to me such a petty thing

Dark Shadows Revival
Ben Cross, Joanna Going
How could this not go on? This was an excellent series that should have continued

Karnstein Trilogy
-The Vampire Lovers: Ingrid Pitt, Peter Cushing
If you like Carmilla you will enjoy this one I think. I surely did
-Lust For A Vampire: Yutte Stensgaard
A nice travel to the next chapter of these stories.
-Twins Of Evil: Damien Thomas, Peter Cushing
This one perhaps should have been its own story rather than part of this trilogy.
Of the three of them I like this one the best

Dracula
Bela Lugosi, Edward Van Sloan
This is a must see for all fans of Dracula, you will have to be forgiving with the story line, but its simply a must see. Its not gory or violent, no sex, if your in the mood for Vampire sex and violence with a Bram Stoker version, then see Bram Stokers Dracula with Gary Oldman. This version is for the quiet rainy evening at home when you just want some good entertainment

Son Of Dracula
Lon Chaney Jr., Evelyn Ankers, Robert Paige
I can see where Rice got her inspired setting clearly here. To me, I like this version, the last scene with Frank makes it all worth watching over and over again and the gowns............if only it had been in color. The acting is top notch though I prefer LC Jr. as the Wolfman rather than a Vampire.

Ghost Ship
Gabriel Byrne, Julianna Margulies
This could have been so much better. I heard though they rewrote the script so maybe that's what happened. With this cast I expected better but for a nautical thrill it's fun. You have to be pretty forgiving though to enjoy it fully

Gothika
Halle Berry, Robert Downey Jr.
Another one you have to be pretty forgiving with the obvious plot holes but still entertaining

The Fog
Adrianne Barbeau, Hal Holbrook
One of the last of the best ones. Psychological terror instead of sex and too much gore

The Ghost And Mrs. Muir
Gene Tierney, Rex Harrison
Perfectly enchanting. Nothing extremely heavy. A delightful way to spend some time

The Uninvited
Ray Milland, Ruth Hussey
A few continuity problems but other than that a wonderful light ghost story

Wuthering Heights
Merle Oberon, Laurence Olivier
I love this movie, they lightened it up to make it a favorite compared to the novel. One of the few times I give it to Hollowood over the source material

Creature From The Black Lagoon
Richard Carlson, Julia Adams
I always liked this one, awfully Phantomesque if you think about it

Psycho
Anthony Perkins, Janet Leigh
Always a good one to watch but now I am curious about the book

Horror Express
Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing, Telly Savalas
First time in a long time I have been left speechless by a movie

The Mummy
Boris Karloff
Gave rise to my love of all things Egyptian

The Mummy's Hand
Dick Foran, Wallace Ford
Way too much recap but I love Poopsie
