Sometimes politics and religion don't go well but here it does. I love the cast and the scenery is on par with the best of desert films. The film itself leaves many unanswered tedious nitpicking questions if you have seen it enough times, but to me they can be overlooked

Aside from the somber story line the filming was grim, adding to the atmosphere. Very well acted

This and Demetrius have been 2 of my favorites for as long as I can remember. The colors, the spectacle. I think the stories themselves are good as well. They are both one of those that could have happened
