I have been doing some catching up on the 221B site. I have added several more blog posts, cleaned up my currently reading list and added more books I am currently reviewing, ones I got this summer. So if you wish to have a look please feel free to take the cab on over https://gszengarden.wixsite.com/bakerstreetlibrary
Castle Of Otranto Horace Walpole Finally got to actually reading this one for the first time. I liked it better reading it rather than listening to the audiobook of it. I still adore the settings and this time did connect with some of the characters. I gave it an extra star this time around See full review here
The Hunchback Of Notre Dame Victor Hugo Very descriptive, I thought it was a bit boring in the beginning but it really picked up in the middle. Of the classics this was up there with the best. A must read for anyone who loves classic descriptive literature. I cried at the end. See full review here
The Colonel And The Bee Patrick Canning Let me first say I love the cover and the inside artwork is really some of the best I have come across in a while.
Not to give too much away it is an excellent Summer escape read. Takes you around the world, makes you care about the characters and leaves you turning the pages till the end. An excellent way to spend some time if you want to travel and can't. Disclosure See full review here
